FRAGMENTED NATURE

The Fragmented Nature Series explores topics of environmental stewardship and humans relationship to the natural world.

I have begun to explore creating immersive installations and large scale images composed of collaged and weaved imagery from a collection of vintage nature wallpaper scenes and photographs from old national geographic magazines. This body of work is inspired by a quote from Richard Powers' novel Overstory.
