There’s More to be proud of

2017 - Present

This piece pays homage to the history of the Edge District as Automobile Row from 1911-1950’s and the traditional aesthetic choices of car lots to draw attention to the heart of the Edge District by hanging a condensed grouping of metallic streamers to create a canopy over this prominent intersection.

The title for this piece is inspired by a mid-twentieth century vintage Chevy car ad that focused on what was possible. While this area is predominantly known as the cornerstone of Rock and Roll, the Edge District is a PLACE OF MAKERS whether it be carriages, music, cars, art, beer, flowers, bread, or food. This theme is particularly important in the Edge District as it finds its new voice, embraces its past, and enters into a new era of creative and unique possibilities.
